We are a community of Jews living in the City of Cambridge and the surrounding area, which is committed to Halacha and Judaism as practised in accordance with the Shulkhan Aruch (The Code of Jewish Law). Hama'ayan arose out of a group of our founding members learning on a regular basis together, and we believe that Limmud Hatorah (Torah study) must sit at the core of any Jewish Community. To this end, we have placed the provision of Jewish education, both for children and adults, at the centre of our activities.
