If you are writing to enquire about membership, please provide details of your family background and prior synagogal affilliations, (including if possible, your, or your mother's or your maternal grandmother's Ketuba) and we will send you a partially completed application form for your further completion. Individual membership is available to all Jews who have passed their 16th birthday, and who live in the Eastern Counties of England north of Stevenage and Harlow. All applications for membership are considered by the Board in accordance with the provisions of our Memorandum and Articles of Association.  We also welcome Friends of the Community.

A Membership Fee Schedule can be obtained from the Secretary. The Community is flexible in relation to financial hardship, and no one who is eligible for membership will be denied membership on the grounds of inability to pay the standard fee. Lower membership fees apply to students, the retired and the unwaged, and flexible payment terms can be agreed.
